I was raised in Marple from age 2 to age 24 when I moved to Canada, on my many return visits to England and ultimately Marple, I along with friends and family have had the opportunity to visit the Andrew Arms and let me tell you what a pleasure, firstly the beer is fresh, frothy (a welcome change from North American beers) and tastes wonderful, the food is priced right and also tastes wonderful, I have always got a friendly welcome not only from the staff but also the customers who for the most part have never seen me before. I would recommend the Andrew Arms to any visitor if you are local or from a distance, Especially try Tuesday night the "fish fry night is worth visit alone. Gordon Murray. September 2010

My family visited the Andrew Arms for lunch on Friday 21 November. My own parents used to visit regularly so we thought we would give it a try and we were not disappointed. We were given a most friendly welcome. The four of us each had a different starter and a different main course and we could not fault anything.
