The Royal Oak has recently changed hand and is enjoying a new lease of Life. Now owned by Local Couple Bill and Ellen Brophy, The pub is rapidly gaining a first class reputation for excellent Beer and Food that you would have to go a long way to beat!
Bill and Ellen have had many years experience in the Catering and Hospitality Fields and have revitalised the Royal Oak. It is a clean and comfortable with a warm welcome and in my opinion on of the few 'real pubs' left that retains a real country pub feel!
Panoramic views with a lovely beer terrace for the summer and warm cosy log fires in the winter. 
The food really is not to be missed! Always fresh always good and at really great prices!. The use of the best quality local ingredients and Ellen's and her team's dedication to perfection ensure that this is pub food at its finest.
