I live nearby and in the past my wife and I used to pop in now and again but since Matt and Amy Comerford have taken over I go at least two or even three times a week, they have made a big impact with their friendly yet professional attitude, and now there is regular entertainment and special events, a good choice of real ales including frequent mini beer festivals [ my favourite] an improved menu and Jay Jay the puddy cat ………. long may they reign!

Tom Greenwood, April 2013.

Been four times recently for an evening meal. Good food. Reasonable value. Pleasant staff. Decent sized portions. Been many, many times for just a drink – a pleasant pub and comfortable restaurant.

Andrew Humphrey, Offerton. January 2009
