Dead Ringer: Written by  Charles Ross: 4th – 8th Mar 2025

When the Prime Minister drops dead from an apparent heart attack on the eve of a general election, two cabinet members who fear they need his charisma to get re-elected hire an out of work actor to replace the deceased.

This dead ringer is supposed to fill in until after the election is won, but he grows to like the role until he discovers that the real PM was poisoned.

This thriller plunges from early amusing fantasy into murder and dark plots.

Peter Pan: Written by J.M. Barrie: 10th – 18th Jan 2025

Adapted by Tom Whalley Pantomimes

On the hunt for his pesky shadow, Peter Pan meets the Darling children in their Nursery. With a sprinkling of Tinkerbell’s fairy dust, Wendy, John and Michael leave Nana the Dog behind on a flight to Neverland – a magical place home to lost boys, mermaids and the most villainous pirate of them all; Captain Hook! With Mrs Starkey and her bumbling son Smee by his side, Hook seeks revenge against Peter Pan who fed his left hand to a tick-tocking crocodile hungry for the rest of him. Will the boy who never grew-up rid Neverland of Captain Hook forever? Will the Darlings find their way home to London? And, most importantly, do you believe in fairies?

This amateur production of “Peter Pan” is presented by arrangement with Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity and Concord Theatricals Ltd. on behalf of Samuel French Ltd

Stepping Out: Written by Richard Harris: 14th – 18th May 2024

A warm and very funny play about the lives and loves of a group of women (and one man) attending a weekly tap dance class in a dingy North London church hall. The class is led by retired professional dancer Mavis who tries to whip into shape a group of ladies (and one man) who initially join the class for social reasons to moan about their problems and make new friends. However, as the classes continue the dances improve to the extent that they are able to perform a routine in a Grand Charity Show. They have been transformed into triumphant tappers worthy of any chorus line.
