The other day I went to post a parcel at Marple post office.
Fortunately I was able to park(with a little difficulty) just before the zig zag lines. I would never park on the ziz zags.
To my annoyance a woman in a silver Mercedes type car just rolled up onto the zig zags left her children in their car seats and followed me into the post office.
I pointed out to her that she was causing danger to pedestrians using the crossing to which she replied
"its not your problem" and I said " no it will be yours if you get booked" unfortunately no police or wardens were about.
These selfish people- who seem to have more money than good sense, total lack of concern for other road users and pedestrians,- always seem to get away with it.
I was not able to get her reg number, otherwise I would have reported her myself....but next time!!
