Have I pointed out recently that Marple is getting a crappie deal from the college, would be nice to knock them off their perch ?  Sorry I'm no ray of sunshine.

Mind you, I've been banging my drum concerning that for quite a while now.

Feel like a right Chub now

Just make sure this thread doesn't descend into any Bass humour

(have I redeemed myself?) :)

Look you lot, there's a time and a Plaice for this type of childish behaviour!

Darn it - I just realised there was more than one page of this. Just realised someone already did plaice!

I've really haddock enough of this, but can understand why people are hooked on this subject and have got caught up in the action of marple!! :D

Children in Need Fishy Challenge - to Wind up Marple's Premier Tree Sturgeon

With apologies to Alex, who intended this as a serious topic, I'm going to extend a CIN challenge to you hilarious people to keep this up until midnight tonight. For every unique fish (or fishy item) mentioned in an amusing way the Marple Website will donate £1 to Children in Need, up to a max of £50.

So far we are up to 22, so it's going to get harder as repeats will not be accepted. And it's no good just listing fish - you need to make us chuckle and try to follow the thread wherever it leads on this fishing trip adventure.
