I have a ten panel 2.5kW Array using Sanyo HIT250 panels. Darren at Verde priced a number of different systems but I decided to go for the highest output / most efficient panels (and therefore most expensive).
The panels are fitted to the roof using a Shucco mounting system, which attaches to the rafters. I had quotes from Adrian Thomas too and I have a friend who had panels installed by him and he is also happy.
The reason I chose Verde is because I have know Darren personally for a long time and I also do his web site for him, so I got it at "mate's rates". I would recommend getting a quote from both Darren and Adrian and at least 1 other (I'm not aware of any others locally but there may be).
Most companies will give you a budget quote based on Google Earth - this allows them to judge the size of your roof and the direction it faces, which are the key factors.
My panels started generating at 1pm on 22 April and to date have generated 1176kWhours, which is an average of 9.4kWh per day.
The highest in the last 31 days is just under 16kWh and the lowest just under 4kWh. I don't know what it will be outside of the period it has been installed yet obviously but if you have in mind a particular day I can tell you what it has generated from the USB data hub that came with the Sunnyboy Inverter.
