Welcome from the Chair....

I would like to welcome you to the new web site of Marple Centre Regeneration Partnership. We were established in the early part of 2002 and our key aim is to work together to enhance Marple District Centre. We want Marple centre to be a quality place to shop, live and work, for the benefit of the local community and visitors alike.

We are a non-political organisation with a comprehensive Action Plan to deliver our vision of Marple in the future. Our vision includes; a vibrant shopping experience and environment with coordinated street furniture and a colourful planting regime; clean and well maintained pavements and walking routes, with coordinated directional signs; a friendly and safe environment - free of crime, vandalism, graffiti and anti-social behaviour. In addition to this, we also aim to promote Marple's heritage and canal system, develop new opportunities, and encourage investor confidence by promoting a positive perception of Marple.

Click on latest news or notes of meetings to read about our current projects and our priorities for future schemes and please don't hesitate to comment on anything you see here by visiting the contacts page.

I hope you enjoy the website and find it very informative. Please visit us again soon to keep up to date with some of the great things going on in Marple.

Kind regards
