There's a good chance it was All Saints. The registers can be viewed on micro-fishe (is that how you spell it?) at Stockport Library, along with many others. You usually need to book a viewer.

Stockport Libraries
Lines open from 8.00am to 8.00pm Monday to Friday and from 9.00am to 4.00pm on a Saturday.
Daytime Tel. No. 0845 644 4307

Could anyone tell me where I can find the parish registers for Marple @ 1816.  My ancestors lived in High Lane but I know that this is too early for St. Thomas' church so where would they have been baptised at that time? Any help would be very much appreciated. '<img'>
