In the 1996 a lady called Kate Cooper had an interest in Rose Hill House, a large house in the Rose Hill area, which was demolished in the 1940s. She researched and wrote a very interesting book about it, which some of you may have read. As well as writing the book Kate had it designed and printed in cooperation with Marple Local History Society, as she believed that it would then reach a wider audience than she could as an individual. The Society would like to publish a second edition of this book but the society has no present contact details of Kate.
