The Cheshire Roll of Honour is looking for information on all Marple soldiers since the Boer War 1898 to the present day. https://www.cheshireroll.co.uk/ if you have a relative who served in any of the services we would like to hear from you. info@cheshireroll.co.uk

https://www.cheshireroll.co.uk/war-memorial-in/Marple

The county roll is free and always will be free to use, there are 30,000 names now listed, the project has 14 volunteers reseaching and creating pages on each one. It has some great features, for example every night the database is scanned and on the home page you will see a list of those who died on this day. For example today 25/04/19 you will see https://www.cheshireroll.co.uk/soldier/?i=4287/captain-donald harlow-budenberg from Marple.

We are adding timelines, we are looking to interview veterans.

The project also can help with visits to France and Belgium, if you are thinking or want to visit the battlefields and looking for advice or a guide the project can help.

Please help us to remember our fallen.
