Mark and Anita at the Ring o' Bells have announced their retirement, scheduled for October this year.
They've been great supporters of The Marple Website and the Friends of Memorial Park and we wish them a long and happy retirement:
Dear Customers,
Anita and I have decided to retire after being successful tenants with Frederic Robinson Ltd for 25 years and 50 years as family tenants with the brewery.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our customers for your patronage and the support given to us at the Ring o' Bells. We hope you will continue to support us until our leaving date, which will be in October 2015.
We would like to thank all the quiz teams for your help in raising over £18,000 for local charities in the last five years.
We would also like to thank all our customers that have supported the summer series of brass band concerts, which have raised over £24,000 for local brass bands.
When we have a retirement date we will notify you all and will be inviting all our customers and staff to a farewell party.
