Manchester Canoe Club is based in Marple. Follow Dale Rd. opposite Rosehill Station, until it turns into a farm track and continue until it turns a sharpish left turn at the bottom. On the right is MCC's Club Site.

The Club meets on Tuesday evenings about 7pm. Consider talking about your requirements there, but at this time of year, and for a any young or inexperienced paddler, it is better to consider their Sunday evening paddling sessions at Hazel Grove baths.  Otherwise look up Manchester Canoe Club's Web Site.

Can you let me know if there is a canoe club around that takes children.  My Son is aged 10 and loves canoeing but I have never done this so don't know anything about it.  How much would it cost and what would he need?  Thanks in advance, Janie xx
