Just to update this thread, as we have just had some cupboards built and a door put on;

www.pw-joinery.co.uk - Never responded to my email or phone message, so as good as he may be, not recommended
Jon Croft - couldn't find a working number for him
matthew.simon@care4free.net - he responded quickly and does some nice stuff, but specialises in working with natural materials, we decided the style and likely cost wasn't going to be right

We went with Salas Tellez (as previously mentioned) - 07988 661205 - lives in Stockport, advertises in Marple Post Office window. Very good, hard worker, reliable and worked to our exact requirements (with a bit of on-site guidance). Pretty good price too.

Just Googled Jon Croft and came up with the number 0161 427 0867.  Is this the number you tried?  I definitely saw him working only a month ago, so he is available somewhere!
