Starter for 10:
How about on say the 2nd week of September there is a boycott of the two supermarkets. All Marple residents to shop either locally or at Morissons and even picket Dan Bank to force any online deliveries to turn back.

This would need a lot of leafletting, local TV/radio and press. Twittering etc.

The laminated posters do raise awareness of the issues but we do need some realistic strategies to encourage the bidding supermarkets to drop any roposals of a big store.
