I recently used K Stringer in Stockport (483-3715). I have no idea if he was cheap, but he was quick, professional, quoted before doing the work and did a good job (within 2 days of me accepting the quote)

Going off his website I think I need someone who specialises in plumbing.  We are talking a major leak/shower plumbing/ceiling about to come down type of problem!

ardek.co.uk may be worth a go. Derrick specialises in electrical appliances but I think he can turn his had to plumbing too. You could try contacting them by e-mail.

We need a plumber in the local area who will do an investigative job for us.  Would be nice to have one that inspects the job, quotes and then actually does the job.  We seem to have difficulty with the last two parts.  Can anyone recommend anyone?
