I find the best pub food in the area is at the Moorfield. Sunday lunch is excellent.

The Andrew Arms in Compstall has just had a refurb. The food is excellent and very reasonably priced.

The two Marple Bridge cafes are on either side of Town Street.  Marple Bridge centre  is very small - you can't miss them!

Marple Bridge has two small cafes which are both good.  Not sure they are open on Sundays though.

Hi,

Sorry for all the questions! As you may have seen in a previous thread we are thinking of moving to marple bridge, please could you let me know if there are any local coffee shops, restaurants etc. From other posts I believe the options are the maple tree Chinese and the midland pub.

Is there somewhere nice to grab a Sunday coffee and bite to eat? Personally I prefer to support independents than large chains.

Thanks again
