We have received this warning from Marple Business Forum:

Wednesday evening at approx 6.30pm the owners of one of the shops on Market Street were threatened by a male, white aged approx 25, armed with a machete.

They managed to close the door and called the police.
 
Please be aware and be extra vigilant.
