'<img'> I have to say the food in the Ringers is a good as ever.  Excellent staff serving as always.  Had a few drinkies last night and caught sight of the Peter half of the dynamic duo - must be worth 50 points in any I-Spy book (Sorry, no shell suits in sight Denise, Tony Tiger and Norris).

Many thanks for the 2003 cal left behind the bar.  At least I solved one puzzle for someone during the evening.  20 something, blue eyes and blond hair?

Big point made during the night - lots of visitors to the forum but few contributors.   If I can get my head round the complexities of the system I am sure others can.  My resolution is to make a few more positive contributions in the future.

Catch you all later

Yes Norris your Humour bypass seems to have worked well.
Please note the hilarity I felt when I read your post about you in a shell suit, not the Norris off Coronation Street. HA HA

No really, I did laugh at the comments you made about you not liking the suit of shell. But hey, to make a poll about the lovely Denise is a bit harsh to be fair.

SPeak to you all soon

Looks like Denise may have found your soft under-belly Norris ':p'

I've met you and I think you'd look OK in a shell suit, Peter used to '<img'>

Why are you all talking about having to wear a shell-suit to go to the Ring O Bells?

I have only ever been in there once and even then i decided to leave rather sharpishly!!

Denise - I don't know what kind of crazy images of me you have going on in your head but i think you need to seek professional help, probably from a psychiatrist, to try and drag you out of days gone by when people actually wore and remembered what shell suits were. You might have a constant reminder when you look in the mirror every day. But i think that it is unfair to try to confuse the younger generations with referring to your out of date dress sense ideas.

P.s. stop imagining me in a shell suit it worries me!!

On our visit to the Ringers our venerable host Mark was in there, but I don't recall his shell-suit!

Buy me a shell suit and it will give me an excuse to get up there more often; joking aside, its one of the best pubs in marple (aside from the Railway that is.

keep watching the skies

Is the Ring O'Bells the Rovers Return of Marple?  Don't often go in there but saw more people from Marple than anywhere else.  Including Mark and Peter, the man from the Hardware Store, the lady from the library etc etc.  All you need now is a Norris type in a shell suit and it would be just perfect!
