Thank-you everybody for getting involved , I have  checked on Facebook every Audrey under the name of Denton and Pott at first I could not find a match. I then checked Audrey Denton's profile again on your site to find that she wrote another post in 2006 with more information, stating that she moved to Melbourne Australia over 40 years ago. I added the information into Google and found a Audrey Pott on Facebook that lives in Melbourne Australia and also originally from Marple . I messaged Audrey on Facebook two days ago and have just received a reply. Audrey said she is unable to access your site due to not knowing her sign in details any-more and that she has poor reception on her phone so is waiting to go to her daughters house to access the WiFi so she can chat with me properly. I think I have found her brother through scanning the Melbourne phone directories (which is my fathers brothers eldest child) at-least I think I have , I will know more once I have spoken to Audrey. Audrey did not actually specifically state that this was the correct Audrey on the Facebook message , but she said when she has internet access that she will look forward to speaking with me and kind of said that she does remember your Marple website , but does not know her details as it was so long ago when she posted. So fingers crossed guys I will post again once I have more info

But the post is over 9 years old.... perhaps @admin or @Howard  will be able to get you Audrey's e-mail address that she used to sign up to the forum? Hopefully she still uses it.

You're absolutely right @Dizzy, it's brilliant! I've already explained to @Darren privately that Audrey hasn't signed into the forum since June 2006, so the key to contacting her is wether she still uses the same email address. If Darren sends a PM to @denton then it will be emailed to the registered address automatically. Fingers crossed that she still uses it!

Hello Audrey this is Darren Potts , Liz said that she new a family of Pott's instead of Pott. Now this may seem like nothing at first but my father was Gordon Potts his name changed from Pott to Pott's because of a clerical error on a marriage certificate. So it seems plausable if not probable that Pott/Pott's is one in the same. I did not want to say this until i was sure to save us both the dissapointment of me being wrong. But my grandparents are also Samual and Maud Pott. So on that basis after 9 years since your original post , YOU HAVE FOUND YOUR COUSIN!  so i really hope that i am correct and that you do recieve this message. For we have a heck of alot to talk about 

PS: If this is the case and you are who i think you are , i would like you to know that my father "Gordon" gave me the middle name of "Raymond" in honour of your father. My father loved him very much.

Hi Audrey - I don't know your cousins but I do know your brother, Brian and sister, Sheila. I also remember your Mum and your gran, Mrs Denton when she worked in the launderette.  Brian was at Hollins Mill nursery and All Saints School at the same time as me.
