Stockport Road will be closed outside The Hollins for Marple Fest!

Have just learned that Stockport Road will be closed in front of The Hollins for Marple Fest on Saturday 25th.

Stockport Council has confirmed that there is a formal road closure in place, so they have been asked for more details that can be shared urgently to get the message out to the community.

Marple Fest Christmas Lights Extravaganza!

Special guests Abby and Tim from Coronation Street

• 10am - Santa's grotto opens at Kiki's (Stockport Road)
• 12noon - Market Stalls, Street food, Children's fair rides

Entertainment from 3.30pm

• 3.30pm - Conundrum.
• 4pm - Brass band.
• Lantern Parade meets 4pm at the War Memorial in Marple Memorial Park and passes through The Hollins and comes back approx 4.45pm.
• 4.30pm - Santa arrives in The Hollins.
• 4.45pm - Prize giving for lanterns.
• 5pm - Christmas Lights Switch-on with Abby and Tim.
• 5pm - NK Theatre Arts.
• 5.30pm - Brass band.
• 6pm - Christmas music.
• 7pm ends.
