Hi Denise,

My name is Rob Dixon, I run a karate club suitable for beginners - Juniors session is 6.30 - 7.30pm every Monday evening at the Methodist Church Hall, Church Road, Marple. We've been established in Marple for 20 years, - if you're still looking for a class for your son, then please feel free to come along any Monday evening. You can find further details on our website - www.marplekarateclub.co.uk. Any queries please feel free to email me at robdixon1@mac.com.

Thanks.

Kind Regards
Rob Dixon

I can recommend Chris Boughy's Chinese Kickboxing classes at St. Mary's Church Hall every Sunday at 5.30 pm and Tuesday at 7.30 pm.

I think he lets you go along and watch and you can get a free trial lesson too. Call 0161 427 8871 or 07774 723839 to check.

'<img'>   What sort of class do you want?  What sort of art does he want to learn.  Tai Chi, Kung Fu, etc.  There are classes locally but some are careful who they train - for obvious reasons.........

I am looking for Martial Arts classes for my son who will be nine in June.  Does anyone have information on the location of suitable classes for him?  I am a total novice in this area so any information about the classes themselves would be useful ie what is the difference between the various martial arts.  Thanks
