Mellor Country House Plant Sale Competition Winners Announced…

I have great pleasure in announcing the winners of our Plant Sale competition.

In first place winning £100 was Gregg Loynes who was delighted to win. Gregg insisted on donating the money back to the home which was overwhelmingly generous of him and I personally thank him on behalf of the charity.

In second place winning a Clarin’s gift bag was Janine Fletcher who was equally delighted and surprised.

We are so grateful for funds raised as we heavily depend on the community support, especially in these very strange and challenging times,  so we want to thank everyone across our local community that took part in the competition.

We are working towards making the home Covid-19 secure so we can get back to providing the much needed short breaks for the vulnerable people of Greater Manchester and Stockport and we will be announcing more updates on this over the next few months.

Congratulations again to Gregg and Janine and to everyone who gave so generously on our Paypal Giving page

Take care and stay safe everyone hope to see you soon.

The competition has a grand prize of £100 which was very kindly donated.  For a chance to win this grand prize , please Ctrl + click on the link below and donate £2 to enter. A name will be pulled out of a hat from the list of donors by Margaret Powell Chairperson, and will be notified by the end of June.

Please share our post as much as you can to spread the word.

We are so incredibly grateful for funds raised so far which will make a really help the charity this year with the challenges we face. We need the community even more than ever now so that Mellor Country House will survive the pandemic and be there for the many vulnerable people even more desperate for a break when this is all over.
