Following on from the successful first workshop which focussed on Rose Hill Station’s history and development, the second intergenerational workshop will feature the important role that all Marple’s community groups, including the Station Friends group, play in enhancing life in so many different aspects and age ranges within the community.
Linked to Big Lottery funding and our upcoming mural facilitated through Art Stop and Tracy McGuiness-Kelly, we continue to aim to bring together the younger and older generations for a dialogue on the benefits of involvement in the local community and maybe find out more about their further expectations of living in the Marple area.
All invited to join in the discussion 12.00 mid-day till 3.00pm in Marple Library, lunch provided.
