Good sugestion by Mark, other possibles, (might be an idea to  phone) are:
The Devonshire have a dining area that has french windows which open onto the beer garden, would probably take a booking of your size.
The Oddfellows have a room upstairs which you can book but I'm not sure for how many.
The Midland, well known for being children friendly.
If the weather is good the the garden at the Spring Gardens, with it's mini farm has got to be worth thinking about for the kids.
I think that about covers it.
Cheers!!

The only place I can think of with a no smoking area and enough room to comfortably take the numbers you require is the Hare & Hounds on Dooley Lane. Their details are in the Pub Guide.

If Egbert's around, he may have some other suggestions.

Our anti-natal group is looking to meet up for a meal, lunchtime or early-evening at a weekend.  There will be 12 adults and 6 newborn babies, so a children's menu is not relevant!

Can anyone recommend anywhere to take our group which is non-smoking, etc??
