George Pegg, Railway Signalman, 1891

Would anyone know anything of my great-grandfather who was a signalman on the 1891 census?
I don't know which station he worked at.  He was 40 years old at the time, married to Elizabeth Sutton,
and living on Stockport Road with 5 children.  Jesse, born 1889 became my grandfather.

Perhaps there are some railway records I can search?
