Summer Sunday Brass band concert at The Ring O' Bells

The Concert on Sunday by Hazel Grove brass Band raised £351 for their band funds.Next Sunday is a complete change from a brass band Concert to a String Quintet and Flute. The Carlton Ensemble play a range of Classical music to modern Pop Music,3pm Start ,Raffle and Collection.

The All Star Concert at the Ring O'Bells still went a head despite the Weather.The Band was fantastic,and the public of Marple turned out in there 100's,Many thanks to Marple fire Station crew for erecting the marques at short notice.£465 was raised for Help for Hero's and The Charles Ingham Band room Fund.Next week Band is the Hazel Grove Band.

If anybody who enjoys Brass Band Music, has not yet been to the Ringers Sunday afternoon concert-then they are missing a real treat.
But make sure you get there in good time, the outside seating although plentiful soon gets full. A nice lunch in the garden goes down very well as a start to a pleasant family afternoon afternoon.

As I am currently living in Wales I have missed every one and I hope soon to be able return to the concerts.

By the way, I do not work for the Ringers- I am just an estranged customer!

This Sunday 17th July The All Star Brass Charity Concert.
Commencing 3pm,in aid of The Charles Ingham Band room Building Fund Marple and Help for Heroes.
Come and listen to some of the best brass players in the Country.

The Concert on Sunday by The Fairey (geneva) Band went ahead despite the weather .The band was brilliant under adverse conditions and showed why they are ranked one of the best brass bands in the world.
There was a great turn out from the audience point of view.
The concert raise £400 for band.

The Concert by The Poynton Youth Band at The Ring O'Bells was well attended .The Raffle ,collection and auction raised £300 for their band funds.The next concert is this Sunday 12th June with The Fairey (Geneva)Band ranked 5th in The Brass Band World Rankings.Commences 3pm,Free admission.Come early to get your seat.
