Interesting tweet posted the previous day "Seventeen windows being raided again 2:00 AM - 12 Jun 13".

From @GMP Stockport East twitter feed on the morning of 13/6/2013:

"Officers from the RSPCA and GMP attended an address in Stockport yesterday where a warrant was carried out as part of ongoing investigation"
"Fifty puppies of numerous breeds, were seized as part of the investigation. Two people have been arrested by police and will be questioned."
"The puppies have been checked by an independent vet but have not been signed over to the RSPCA as such are not yet available for rehoming"
"Also seized was a large quantity of cash. The conditions the dogs were kept in was poor."

There is no indication of where the raid took place.

I see that a well known puppy business at an address in Stockport has withdrawn their numerous breeds of puppies from sale.

This may or may not be related to the arrest+seizure noted above.
