Carver Theatre Play: Goodnight Mister Tom: 14th - 18th Nov 2023A heart-warming and emotional drama, set during the outbreak of the Second World war. It features around a young boy, William Beech, who has been abused at home by his religious mania mother in London. William along with many other children is evacuated to a small country village and he is placed in the care of an elderly recluse, Tom Oakley. Here William experiences a new life of loving and care. All seems to be perfect until a letter arrives from his mother who summons him back to London.
