Off-road motorbike being ridden in Marple Memorial ParkOn Saturday at 11.53am an off-road motorbike was spotted passing through Marple Memorial Park on the main path.
Some time later on Saturday the bike returned and drove all over the park, tearing up the grass surface. This was witnessed by a park user and reported to the police but it was gone by the time they arrived. In the past we have had reports of a motorbike on the skatepark ramps too.
If you witness a motorbike being driven in the park please report it to the police as it is a crime. If you are able without putting yourself at risk, please take photos or videos and pass onto the police. If your are able to get a vehicle registration or just a detailed description, please share this with them.
