Marple Scouts & Girlguiding Brabyns Park Bonfire 2021 Cancelled
Reluctantly, the Marple Scouts & Girlguiding Bonfire Committee have made the difficult decision to cancel the 2021 Brabyns Park Bonfire & Firework display.  This decision has not been made lightly, but the effects of the Coronavirus outbreak mean that the Scouting and Girlguiding volunteers have only recently moved back to face to face meetings with young people and our efforts are focused on getting back to Scouting & Girlguiding in the community. Therefore, the necessary planning which is vital for us to bring you the Bonfire & Fireworks, will not be possible this year.
We realise that many of you will be disappointed with this news, but we hope that you will understand why we have made this difficult decision.
The committee will meet early in the new year to discuss how to move forward in 2022 when hopefully the situation will be clearer.

Such a shame, but totally understandable.  Here's hoping for a return in 2021!

Marple Bonfire and Firework Dispay
Due to the current Covid 19 restrictions placed both on Scouting And Guiding and the community in general along with the potential for tighter lockdown restrictions in the area to be reintroduced, Marple Scouting & Girlguiding Bonfire and Firework Display, regrettably, will not be taking place in 2020.
