This isn't meant to be a criticism, but rather than feeling lonely at home why don't you try some of the many things that are available in Marple?  There's lots of daytime classes at the college, from yoga to gardening, there's the WI, or several charity shops which are always looking for volunteers.  There's nothing worse than staying in and brooding about things. Awww Lonely, why dont you visit your daughters instead!!

Im sure they would be delighted to see you.

My Father often complains of the same thing, but as we  both live in marple, its not far for him to walk if he really misses me!!!

I am so glad that the forum is back. I am on my own most days and my daughters don't visit me very often. I spend most of  the day doing housework, over and over again, I always stay logged in to the Marple Web forum and Website, it is my lifeline to the outside world.
