FoMMP 50-50 Club June 2021 Winners!

Friends of Marple Memorial Park conducted the June 2021 50-50 Club Draw on Tuesday 6 July 2021 and we're delighted to announce the winners. As there was no meeting due to Covid19 constraints, the draw was conducted by the Chairman and Treasurer whilst maintaining safe distances.

The draw was made using a Random Number Generator App and the lucky subscribers are:

• 1st Prize: £105 - No. 018 Privacy Requested.
• 2nd Prize: £63 - No. 080 Privacy Requested.
• 3rd Prize: £42 - No. 064 Jayne Smith.

For this draw there were 84 paid-up subscriptions generating an income of £420. Half of that was allocated as prizes and the remaining £210 will help us maintain and improve the park.

The next draw will be conducted between 2nd and 7th August, subject to Covid19 constraints.

The draw was made using a Random Number Generator App and the lucky subscribers are:

• 1st Prize: £105 - No. 006 Larraine Thompson.
• 2nd Prize: £63 - No. 044 Malcolm Allan.
• 3rd Prize: £42 - No. 047 John Hulme.

For this draw there were 84 paid-up subscriptions generating an income of £420. Half of that was allocated as prizes and the remaining £210 will help us maintain and improve the park.

This draw has been a bonanza for Friends of the Park as 1st Prize winner Larraine Thompson, who was 3rd last month too, has repeated her generosity by donating £55 of this win to the Park Fund and £50 to another local charity. 2nd Prize winner Malcolm Allan has donated £33 to the Park and will be passing on the balance of £30 to another local cause close to his heart, and 3rd Prize winner John Hulme has also kindly donated all of his £42 winnings to the Park Fund too. Thank you all!

The next draw will be conducted between 1st and 12th July, subject to Covid19 constraints.

The 4th Prize of a Christmas Hamper, kindly donated by the new Marple Co-Op, was won by Marian Thompson, seen below receiving it on her doorstep.



The draw was made using a Random Number Generator App and the lucky subscribers are:

•     2nd Prize: £64 - No. 042 Doreen Clifford.
•     3rd Prize: £43 - No. 043 Privacy Requested.

Note 1: The random number App allocated 52, 42, 43 and 32 as the winning numbers this month. Subscriber No. 32 (Privacy Requested) declined the Hamper and asked for it to be redrawn. No. 11 was then allocated using the random number App, which was lucky subscriber Marian Thompson.

Note 1: The random number generator App allocated 1, 43 and 58 as the winning numbers this month. As number 1 is allocated to Gill Whittaker, who was a witness at the draw and also won 3rd prize last month, it was agreed by all present that she could select a replacement number at random.
