The agenda for the Marple Area Committee Meeting on Wednesday 23 June has been published. The meeting starts at 6pm in the Town Hall Council Chamber. In the light of the ongoing impact of the coronavirus pandemic and the consequent limited capacity of many of the council's meeting rooms, members of the public are strongly encouraged to watch the public webcast rather than attend the meeting in person unless you are attending for the purposes of public speaking on planning applications.
As we've been advised by
@Steve Gribbon, this meeting will see him elected as Chair for the coming year. This month is a lengthy agenda including a report on the High Lane Neighbourhood Plan.
The press and public are able to follow the proceedings by watching the live webcast of the meeting.
Watch LIVE via this link, or afterwards on catch-up:

There's a page about Marple AC that tries to explain in simple terms what they do and how you can get involved here:

The page includes a map of the Marple Wards so you can see exactly where the boundaries of Marple North and Marple South and High Lane are. It also features a live feed from the Stockport Council web site at the bottom that shows links to the latest agendas issued, meetings held etc.
There is also a shortcut link to the Marple Area Committee page on the council site:
