Friends of the Park are seeking local business sponsors for the Team Extreme event at Marple Carnival on Saturday 17 June.

We are offering space for banners on the green fence around the skatepark / basketball court starting at £30 for a 600mm x 600mm banner to £120 for a 2400mm x 600mm space.

If you have an existing banner that you can use that's all it will cost. If you don't, Inkbox on Derby Way is offering special prices on banners too.

Of course sponsors will be promoted on-line and via Social Media too, as well as having their banner displayed on the day.

If you are interested in showcasing your business by sponsoring this event please call Diane on 427 5388 or email banners@marple-uk.com for more details.

Friends of Memorial Park are bringing Team Extreme back to to Marple Carnival on Saturday 17th June to celebrate the completion of the community project to extend Marple Skatepark.

Team Extreme, who helped us promote the project during Marple Carnival 2013, are UK specialists in organising and holding skatepark events and will bring along a selection of the UK’s top park riders from a range of extreme sports.

During the day they will put on a series of three demonstration displays featuring Pro Skateboard, BMX, Scooter and In-Line Skates riders on the skatepark. In-between Team Extreme will organise competitions for local riders to take part.

This year marks the 55th Annual Marple Carnival, which attracts thousands of local people who line the streets to cheer on the Parade and gather in Memorial Park to continue the festivities with fairground rides, stalls, food and entertainment.

The addition of the skatepark event will enhance the day for many families and their youngsters. The new skatepark already has a strong core of users of all ages and we envisage this event and the competitions will give them a great opportunity to display their own talents and be an added attraction to bring more visitors to the fantastic Marple Carnival.
