Tramway Wharf now hit by Fly Tippers

Between the 10/7/17 and 14/7/17 the a boat moored at Tramway Wharf Marple near Brick Bridge, which is private land. Thus the boat and owners were trespassing, and have left a large amount of rubbish fly tipped, set a large fire on the grass bank and a lot of unburnt rubbish still remains. The rubbish includes furniture, clothing, cans, bottles, painting materials and general waste. It is obvious from the amount of spilled red paint that a boat was being painted whilst alongside and obviously the boat we suspect is currently being painted with the same red paint and materials used as left at Tramway Wharf. Paint has been liberally spilled over the stonework of the canal, these are stones that have been in place since 1797 and part of the canal heritage. We would like to clean up the mess as soon as possible, but have left it as is for now to show evidence, as we have reported to police and council.
As we know the towpath opposite is very popular with walkers we would appreciate any information regarding the boat that was moored there at the time and responsible, we are fairly sure we know the identity but a confirmed sighting would help enormously.
