I'm very pleased to report that The
ISWOK Boutique Flash Sale and tombola raised £100 for the Skatepark Project on 5th November.

This is a great achievement, especially for the tombola run by Marple Hall School year 8 students Nathan Price, Ruby Price and Grace Young. This was supported by lots of local businesses and raised £74 of the money. We'd like to say thank you to Nathan, Ruby and Grace, ISWOK Boutique owners Gaynor and Liz, and the following local retailers (and some from afar) who donated many great prizes:
Asda Marple: Case of Prosecco
Marple Spar: Bottle of Prosecco
Mr Chips on Derby Way: Fish and chips voucher for 2
Turner & Whelan Garage: Bottles of booze
Marple Health: Cosmetics and preserves
Skate Hut Birmingham: £50 evoucher
The Hayes Sisters: A Hayes Sisters CD
Marple Post Office: Scarves
Poppy Marple: Bouquet of flowers
All Things Nice: Coffee and cake
Local Author Chris Simms: Signed book
Polished: Nail treatment voucher
Fretwell Bennett Salon (Oxford Rd, Manchester): Hair cut and highlights for the value of £160
The last prize listed above, a voucher to the value of £160 for a haircut and highlights at the prestigious Oxford Road Salon Fretwell Bennett, did not go. So we are going to be auctioning this to the highest bidder to raise some extra funds: We'll add more details in a separate post but in the meantime here are some links to find out more about Fretwell Bennett:
