How nice it was to see all the young people on parade today,

The Scouts, Guides, Rangers, Cubs, Brownies and Beavers, all proudly displaying smart uniforms. It was a very happy atmosphere, bathed in sunshine.

They all reflected honour on their parents and guardians, the leaders of the groups and themselves.


The Hawk Green Band added that special touch to the parade
