Measures are under way at the moment to try and put a halt once and for all to the anti social problems on the 24/7 site, unfortunately demolition doesn't look likely, as it stands now the council are fighting the owner and enforcing an order to "tin" up the entire building, although it will be an eyesore it is the only option to keep youths out as the current boarding up is not doing the job. The site owners seem to care little about the problems, but a newly formed residents association will I'm sure start to heap the pressure on them. Meanwhile if any anti social behaviour is seen on or around the site it has been asked if a log of times, dates, and brief descriptions can be made and sent to the councils anti social behaviour dept or Marple police station at the memorial park as a case is being made against the owners. An online form is available on the council website to fill in if you require to make a report, and a log sheet can be requested from there.
