They get caught, do a bit of community service, keep quiet for a few weeks then nobody will guess it's them bang at it again.

The crim's might have guessed Marple hasn't seen a proper plod in 9 months, easy pickings for them in broad daylight.

I was told that there were 5 in the Ley Hey area and a couple in Romiley.

To have FIVE in one night is very unusual.

I overheard a conversation last night where the cashier at the Premier newsagent was telling somebody new to Marple that there were 7 burglaries in the area on the night of 7th July (over the course of that night) but that it isn't very common.

Does anyone know any more about this latest spate?
