Additional info: No private sparklers for safety reasons.
I don't mean to go off on on here because I'm looking forward to an exciting night with my little'un

But.... could whoever thought up that one please explain in as much detail as possible the "safety reason"?
Sparklers are a very important part of bonfire / fireworks night. Kids can't help beaming with joy when holding one, spelling their name out and all that. If I want to entrust
my child with a sparkler and trust
myself to supervise him with it then I will bring a pack along, as my parents did for me.
If some bright spark (ho-ho) from the increasingly annoying health & safety brigade tells me to put them in the bin, I will shove a toffee apple in their gob and tell them to head over to the bonfire to brighten up!
Disclaimer: I wouldn't really shove an apple in their mouth. Lover not a hater.
