Delighted to learn that Friends of Memorial Park's entry to the St Martin's Christmas Tree Festival was judged by the Mayor of Stockport to be the "best in show" and we won First Prize! So well done to volunteers Micaela, Larraine and Gill for their hard work on preparing the tree! We'll try to sort some photos later today.

Church is open for viewing the trees this afternoon 2pm till 4pm.

St Martin's Church Christmas Tree Festival [Until 13 January 2014]

St Martin's Christmas Tree Festival is now underway with trees prepared by local groups being set up today.

You will be able to view the trees at a concert on Friday evening (6th) but this is a ticket event, or Saturday 7th when there will also be a craft fair in the Church Hall.

You can also view the trees during the annual toy service on Sunday 8th and on Monday 9th December.

Some trees will remain throughout the festive period until the New Year and can be seen whenever the Church is open.

For more details see: http://www.stmartins-lowmarple.co.uk/

Always contact the Church if you are unsure or to check details.
