The remains of the tree sculpture in Memorial Park were vandalised on Saturday and lumps of tree left scattered all around the park.

Friends of the Park went down and tidied it up yesterday but we couldn't remove the last section of the sculpture by hand.

Today we'd like to say a big thank you to Myers Tree Care, who came along with a chainsaw and removed the last section for us free of charge.
