It was a great afternoon. Seeing the park full of people having fun was a real pleasure  - it is how the park should be.

I am looking forward to the next event.

Nothing to do today? Football cancelled? Not going to the post bank holiday sales?

Well, if that's the case, the Friends of Cromwell Avenue Park are having a picnic in the park from 1-3pm today.

Kids activities, raffle, competitions, and the weather is nice! One last party before the park gets its new play equipment early next year. Come and look at our plans too! For the playground plus the woodland area.

No worries if not - have a good weekend and keep collecting those tokens in the Stockport express for the Vernon Jubilee Fund.
