Marple Rugby Club Open Day - 1st September

Just a quick addition here. This is the open day for the mini and junior rugby teams for children in the U6 (year 1) up to U19 (sixth form). Boys and girls are welcome and we'd love to see new players come and discover a disciplined (both players and spectators!) and enjoyable game.

Marple Rugby club has been established for over 30 years and have over 200 playing members from the age of 6 to 60 (or thereabouts). On Sunday 1st September we welcome the start of the junior club's season. We field teams from under 6 to under 19.

As a small club we are in competition with the larger more established clubs like Stockport and wilmslow. The junior club has over 200 members and a thriving social side.

On Sunday we welcome back all our existing players but relish the prospect of new players joining us as we are as ever competing with football.

Your children can have a taster session and make there own choice, there is no pressure, it's all about fun.

The day starts at 10am at our pitches on Wood Lane, Marple.

There is a catering van on site and a giant rugby inflatable for the kids to play on.

All coaches are CRB checked and the welfare of the children is our priority.

As our motto goes "one try and be converted".
