Police Officers around Marple

A short lived presence. I never saw them in my area despite considerable unwanted activity.

theres been a number of Burglaries so suspect that might be it

I don't know about anyone else but I've noticed a MUCH higher visibility of police officers on the beat around Marple in the past few weeks. They've been very visible around the Texaco garage and the Hollins where the groups of youngsters gather. They weren't hassling them, just chatting and making sure everyone kew they were there. I've even seen them patrolling the queter residential streets around the centre of the town.

I hope this is a permanent presence and not just paying lip service to keep the public from complaining about lack of visible officers around the town.
