And they are now added to the Vintage Carnival section:

Yes, those are the ones. I've now found them on Facebook. It wasn't how I wanted them to be used.

I think the Carnival Committee have just misunderstood what you wanted. If you want them to go on the Virtual Tour them send them to me.

If you would like them removed from Facebook then you would need to get in touch with the Carnival Committee. The form on their web site is a good way to do this:

I do have copies stored on my PC. Would it be OK to e-mail and include as an attachment

Yes, that will be perfectly acceptable as long as they are a suitable size (i.e. not too small).

I took them to a John Wright. who I understood would be passing them on to the relevant person. I received a phone call this week to go and collect them. However he is now on holiday.
I understood that I was submitting them for inclusion on the archives, so now I feel I have been misled and now I don't know what they have been used for, or even when I will get them back.

This is a great disappointment and not at all what I was led to believe.

Hello Carina,

If you are referring to the photos on the Virtual Tour, then I haven't received any Carnival photos submitted recently.

I think you may have submitted them to the Carnival Committee's Facebook page but this is not the way to get them onto the Virtual Tour.

If you want to submit some for the Tour then please send them to me at mark@marple-uk.com.

I'm new on here and trying to find my way around.
I've just submitted 4 photos of Marple carnival in the 1960's. I've been told that my photos have been posted in the archives but I've not been able to find them. I've scrolled throughall the 1960's photos but can't find mine.
They are of the Marple 18plus group floats in 3 separate years. Two show a Turkish theme, one is a Viking theme and the other is a cowboy theme.
Please can someone let me have the link so I can view them.
