Even though there is a sign on the door prohibiting dogs, they are allowed inside and to add to that they sit on the sofas!!  Poor show Costa

Have to say I always expected McDonalds to take Hanburys before they split it up.

A mac D's would give something new,

I agree, would be great for teenagers as well as cheaper than Costa.

It gets worse!!    :(
A Bettys would be good ?

Don't think Betty's is posh enough for marple ,

But we have lots of tea room type places & Marple really is not Harrogate. Pizza express would detract from the Italian over the road that does decent pizzas.

A mac D's would give something new, maybe they could do drive through at the side

Does anyone know what the first floor of the building is used for now?

With those nice big windows it'd make a good restaurant. (Nandos? Pizza Express? ;) )

Mac D's would be cool

I wouldnt visit costa if subway was next door,  I cant bear the smell of the shops , and thats from the outside , but talking to other people, it appears to be just me that cant stand the smell of subway shops , I dont know if its the bread, or the hot fillings or what, but it makes me feel bluuuuuuuugh !

No it's not just you, PP - the Subway smell makes me go yeuuuuuuch too!

I can't stand it either.  Wonder what the smell actually is.
