Regarding the banners - I think these were paid for by EU funding, like the lights - if I'm correct in this it means they haven't cost us anything as rate-payers. Hopefully there will be someone else better informed who can give us the correct details. I think all the District Centres now have these banners.

Does anybody know whats happening, when will it be completed, will it be a complete new surface?

What cost to the ratepayers were the banners on the lampost on Stockport Rd?, why are they there? Have I missed some event or is something going to happen?
