Ahh BB guns, hours of fun whilst I was growing up and I have no problem buying them for my son too. I might go and buy one for old times sake. They provide harmless fun. Maybe we should all go and buy one and then go and ambush that house that has a number in its name  :P

Oh and the Marple pound shop is not a true pound shop. He started off selling things for a pound but when the owner heard "KERCHING" in his head after realising he was in affluent Marple he put the prices up so 'Pound Plus' is a good name for the shop. A pack of 4 toilet rolls is now £1.30, in Iceland they are only £1 and shampoos etc are £2.50. Mulligans is cheaper.

I know what you are saying but sadly we live in very different times and believe me these BB Guns look nothing like the ones from years ago.  I am no gun expert but they look like replica fire arm's in all diffrent shapes and sizes.  As I said before just go take look as I may be over reacting.  All I can say is I would not like to be the one it was pointing at because believe you me I would be saying a few Hail Mary's

Hey forget about high energy drinks given away by The new Premier Shop at Rose Hill which may be bad for our children's health.  The pound shop on Market St has gone one better by selling BB Guns  :o   When I was in the shop this afternoon I noticed a pile of guns just displayed on the floor, they looked like left overs from the cold war.  I was in the shop alone for around 5 Min's until the owner appeared he had been in the Bulls Head car park opposite  unloading his car.  I asked if people bought such realistic guns for their  children as I thought it wasn't PC anymore to have your child looking like Roy Rogers.  The shop owner informed me that they were not children's toys they were BB Guns, on closer inspection they could have passed for real guns.  The shop owner seeing my shock and disbelief said that he was allowed to sell them to people over the age of 18.  I pointed out to him  that I had been left alone in the shop for 5 Min's and how could he guarantee that someone wouldn't just take one.  Surly these guns should be under lock and key not just piled on the floor.  Before anyone says they are only toys please go and take a look because they are so realistic its scary
